Serco is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marine Electrical and Controls Engineer to join our dynamic Serco Canada Marine (SCM) Team for the design of ships and ship systems. In this role you will be reporting to SCM and supporting various projects in Canada. The SCM leverages its corporate knowledge to conceive, design, construct, support and evaluate high-performance maritime systems for a variety of customers. You could also be assigned to In Service Support programs of a ship or submarine where you will be required to develop engineering specifications for refits and modernisation as well as provide engineering support for resolving queries from the production teams for the client.
As a Marine Electrical and Controls Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that works closely with the customer, shipyard, and other Serco teams in an integrated design environment to deliver high quality designs to schedule. In a collaborative work environment, you will be providing technical support coordinating design components with a multi-disciplinary team, stakeholders, and customers to generate integrated reports, drawings, and analyses.
