Responsibilities

Job Summary: Responsible for the design and development of all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Create, redline, modify, and correct electrical schematics or control systems using CAD software such as Sky CAD, SolidWorks, or Auto Cad.
• Build control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards.
• Design and commission basic PLC and HMI software applications.
• Interpret and develop logic for Allen-Bradley RS Logix 5000 and 500 applications.
• Experience with electrical control panel design, building, and wiring.
• Spec and procure required components, sensors, and hardware needed for implementing controls solutions.
• Significant management and contractor interactions including design, costing, quoting, and executing electrical systems, control systems and automation upgrades.
• Coordination, support, and installation of various electrical system projects.
• Provide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externally.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

3 Years Electrical Controls experience in manufacturing controls engineering.
