    OVERVIEW:
    A global industry controls/ factory automation (FA) engineering company is looking for a junior Electrical Engineer with Japanese language skills.
    As the Junior Electrical Engineer, you will utilize your technical design knowledge and learn to develop automation solutions such as Vision Camera, Robot, and AGV with collaborative efforts with senior controls, electrical and mechanical engineers.
    The company will sponsor your work visa in the U.S. (E-visa) after OPT-STEM period. The successful candidate can develop electrical drawings and design of PLCs, HMIs, and robots programs and schematics based on customer specifications provided in Japanese.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
    * Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to understand the layout and connections of various components within control systems.
    * Identify key elements, such as sensors, actuators, switches, and power supplies, to gain insights into the overall system architecture.
    * Analyze schematic drawings to troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues within control circuits.
    * Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate interpretation and alignment with project requirements.
    * Participate in the physical assembly of control panels by connecting electrical components based on schematic designs.
    * Assist in the fabrication of control panels, ensuring proper placement and wiring of devices for optimal functionality.
    * Collaborate with technicians and other engineers during the fabrication process to address any challenges and ensure quality standards are met.
    * Contribute to machine wiring activities, connecting control systems to machines and ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.
    * Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical software.
    * Develop and modify electrical designs based on project specifications and requirements.
    * Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate electrical designs seamlessly with overall project plans.
    * Ensure accuracy and completeness of AutoCAD Electrical drawings to facilitate effective communication and implementation.
    * Develop ladder logic programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) based on project requirements.
    * Collaborate with senior engineers to understand the logic and functionality needed for control systems.
    * Debug and troubleshoot PLC programs to identify and resolve any issues during the testing phase.
    * Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to PLC programming to enhance efficiency and reliability.
    * Other duties and projects requested by Management.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    * Fluency in Japanese language skills (speaking, reading, and writing)
    * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 0 year of work experience; or Associate degree focused on automation and controls with 3 years of direct experience in Controls Automation design
    * Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software
    * Strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications
    * Knowledge of PLC programming
    * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    * Quick assimilation of new concepts
    * Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail
    * Flexibility in schedule and willingness to attend domestic travels (20%)
