Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Controls Engineer relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.     Jr. database modeler for the Energy Management System (EMS). Knowledge of Power Systems modeling as an Electrical Engineer is desirable, along with Power I & Power II college courses. This is an entry level position, formalized training is included by FPL.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Must be degreed Electrical Engineer
    • Must have taken Power I and II in college
    • Graduated in 2023, 2022, or 2021

    Work Environment

    • Sitting in the FPL office where primarily distribution engineering and ops sit.
    • This is an entry level position, formalized training is included by FPL
