Responsibilities: As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including:
1. Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. 2. Collaborating with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 3. Programming and troubleshooting PLCs for automated equipment. 4. Developing and implementing control system design for new and existing machinery, including automation and robotics. 5. Conducting inspections and tests to ensure systems and components meet established specifications. 6. Providing technical support and training to staff and customers. 7. Participating in project meetings, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. 8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. 9. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in controls engineering and introducing new technologies and methodologies into the workplace.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Electrical Controls Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role. 3. Extensive knowledge of PLC Programming, Electrical Design, Automation, Robotics, Controls Systems Design, and Injection Molding. 4.
