Electrical Controls Engineer jobs in Pueblo, CO
Electrical Controls Engineer designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software. Being an Electrical Controls Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Controls Engineer relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. What YOU will do:
- Residential electrical service, maintenance and inspections
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Whole house rewire
What you will bring:
- Progressive electrical experience
- Journeyman, Master or residential license required
- Experience in residential repair and install
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (company vehicle provided during working hours)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to handle physical workload
