Previous substation experience is beneficial but not required, a successful applicant will have a BSEE. This is a diverse position, that includes office work evaluating test data and writing reports from field crews, consulting with clients, and field work. Field work includes setup and testing protective relay systems as well as acting as the startup engineer for new substation testing and commissioning projects. Typical annual salary range is $70,000 to $100,000, can be higher depending on qualifications and experience.
