Position Overview:
Conduct Electrical Maintenance to all the equipment through the plant process areas by supplying the department with the tools, training, and resources, while providing a safe work environment.

Responsibilities: *
- Research and implement the current electrical safety codes, training, and safe electrical work practices to ensure the electrical personnel and equipment are as efficient as possible for the plant operations.
- Performs daily inspections on the work performed to ensure the work is completed and equipment is in proper operation to release to Production.
- Reviews and audits all tools, materials ensuring all resources are available for the tasks at hand e.g., tools, manpower, parts and any manuals or drawings involved.
- Coordination and Scheduling of the maintenance to be performed the next day with the production and maintenance supervisors, alongside with the department
- Evaluate and analyze all the equipment through the plant to ensure optimization of the process areas and identify any new issues that need attention.
- Ensure equipment, work areas, measuring instruments, tools, and accessories in a safe, clean, neat and orderly condition.
- Conduct task training on equipment such as manlifts and cranes.
- Conduct the performance evaluation and participate in hiring processes.
- Evaluate stock in warehouse and create new SAPs for items that are not in our system.
- Create purchase requisition of parts and tools needed for our department.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: *
- Minimum of 5 years as electrical coordinator or supervisor in heavy industry or cement plant experience.
- Minimum 2 years electrical experience in an industrial mining facility (preferably cement).
- Experience working with electrical equipment/installations in a heavy industrial setting, including VFD's, low and medium voltage switchgear, I/O systems, protective
- relays, industrial motors, and instrumentation. Experience leading/supervising electricians.
- Electrical Engineer or Electrical Supervisor in a heavy industrial setting or cement industry.
- Software navigation - Utilize portable PC to connect to various control stations which have proprietary software and connection cables.
- Calibrate and program equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, computers and any other industrial electrical/electronic analyzing equipment and tools needed in carrying out responsibilities.
