Summary: Seeking a Sr. Electrical Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in facility and infrastructure projects to provide design, technical assistance, and leadership.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design for facility and infrastructure projects
Proficiency in power, lighting, grounding, and fire alarm systems design
Proficiency with REVIT software
Experience with lighting calculation software (e.g. AGI, ElumTools, Visual)
Experience with power system analysis software (e.g. SKM Powertools, ETAP)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
AAS Degree
Experience in communications, access controls, and security systems design
Knowledge of medium voltage power distribution systems
Job Responsibilities:
Determine, analyze, and interpret client needs and requirements
Estimate discipline man-hours and project costs
Design electrical components and systems for industrial facilities
Provide leadership and supervision to assigned designers and engineers
Produce contract documents, including drawings and specifications
Review designs, proposals, shop drawings, and contractor comments
Perform calculations, layouts, and arrangements
Visit construction sites to observe existing conditions and provide solutions
Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs
Provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning
Collaborate with other disciplines to solve design issues
Review design deliverables for constructability
Write commissioning procedures
Assist in start-up and commissioning of communication, security, instrumentation, and controls projects
