Responsibilities:
-Perform most of the basic engineering tasks as necessary for each project including zoning, equipment layout and coordination, heating/cooling load calculations, coordination with other team(s), etc...
-During the design phase, you will prepare Design Development Drawings and Construction Documents in collaboration with other squad members, and senior team members as needed while apply relevant code knowledge to your system design and layout
-During the agency approval phase, you will coordinate corrections to your plans/designs with the AHJ and other team members as needed in order to support project permitting
-During the construction phase, you will provide Construction Administration services to aid in the execution of our design
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC systems design experience and industry knowledge is preferred.
-Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting skills required.
-BSME degree, technical degree, or other industry specific work experience which demonstrates high levels of technical capability.
-PE preferred but not required. Also advantageous to have a current EIT and working on your PE license.
-Working knowledge of current codes/standards for building projects within the State of California including: California Mechanical Code, CALGreen Code, and California Energy Code.
-Training in BIM preferred but not required; Revit MEP strongly preferred.
-Excellent time management and project prioritization.
-Software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office365
