Electrical Designer designs and develops layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. Assists in the production of detailed schematics. Being an Electrical Designer requires basic knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Electrical Designer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Electrical Designer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with expertise in industrial electrical design, specifically within manufacturing environments.
Key Requirements:
5-8 years of related experience in industrial electrical design, preferably in a chemical plant or other manufacturing environments.
2 years of experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
Ability to understand P&IDs.
Familiarity with NEC codes and IEC standards.
Experience designing 24V - 480V electrical distribution systems.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
