This position class provides instrumentation and controls engineering discipline support for projects. The successful candidate will be assigned a classification (Engineer, Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer, in ascending order of responsibility) based on the competencies demonstrated.
Additional Potential Assignments:
Depending on candidate competencies and interests, and available project work, I&C engineers could be assigned to provide fire and gas alarm and controls engineering, other Fire Protection Engineering work, or Electrical Engineering work. Candidates with Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering capabilities are encouraged to apply.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, client, or employees of organization.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position is based in our Anchorage, Alaska office. However, most of the work activities may be performed as work-from-home. We will consider allowing work-from-home from locations within the United States outside of the immediate environs of Anchorage Alaska contingent upon demonstration that communications connectivity and other work-from-home elements meet our needs. Travel for site visits and in-person meetings is expected to be extremely infrequent.
