● Must be able to translate a customer problem into an electrical design solution
● Ensure designs and solutions consider overall costs and that the most efficient design/solution will be offered to the customer
● Must use the PDP process effective to achieve a flawless launch of products
● Must take ownership of project timing, and work to achieve deadlines and gate reviews. Timing issues must be communicated and transparent to the organization
● Must work in collaboration with the sales engineers to meet the needs of the customer
● Develop, implement and maintain electrical best practices with electrical design
● Validate new designs for effectiveness
● Delivery projects on-time/cost/quality.
