Immediate need for an experienced Electrical Engineer in Philadelphia for a 70 year old, national MEP firm focusing on Institutional, Hospital and Laboratory type projects throughout the country. Significant backlog of booked projects with a number of new work currently being won. This is an immediate need.
Responsibilities:
- Power Distribution and Lighting design for a variety of building types: Commercial, Institutional, Healthcare, Laboratory or Government/Federal facilities.
- Perform construction administration tasks (site visits, submittal reviews, RFI’s, field changes).
- Strong familiarity with NEC and/or local code design criteria.
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems.
- Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
- EIT or PE license highly preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience within an MEP design engineering setting.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit software.
