What you'll do
· Assists with allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling
· Oversees daily business operations including staff hiring and department allocations.
· Provides recommendations and technical support on electrical engineering reviews, strategic plans, and projects.
· Create and manage project and department budgets
· Evaluate performance and productivity on a project and department level
· Train low-level managers and staff
· Develop and implement growth strategies.
· Shape the department work environment through performance standards, business concepts and personnel values.
· Maintain and manage client relationships and expectations
What you’ll need
· Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience as a manager in the e/project manager with control system projects
· Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and be able to provide management oversight
· Supervision and coordination of engineers, designers, technicians, and 3rd party suppliers and contractor
· Control system automation and manufacturing instrument experience and familiarity with the various hardware/software products and services employed for automation control
system projects
· Extensive knowledge of automation technology
· Be willing to travel to support project and proposal meetings with customers
· Strong aptitude to communicate and exercise effective interpersonal skills is necessary
· Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with
challenges
