Sunset Key Cottages is seeking an Engineering Manager with experience delivering exceptional service.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible to supervise the day-to-day repairs and maintenance for the resort.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluation of performance
· Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary.
· Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies and rules to ensure an efficient department.
· Must have experience on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
· Engineering experience in a hotel/resort
· Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must possess basic computer skills.
· Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors.
· Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
