Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and execution of projects while managing budgets and supervising multiple teams
Coordinate daily activities of Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Field Engineering teams to ensure efficient use of resources
Responsible for team management including interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning work assignments; appraising performance
Collaborate with upper management to ensure engineering initiatives are on schedule and within budget
Contribute to the technical vision for the company and plan implementation of new technical projects
Research components/vendors suitable for projects
Work closely with contractors/vendors to ensure products are built on schedule, within budget and free from defects
Provide oversight/input to manufacturing and production processes
Supervise construction/testing of prototype assemblies
Identify new features/issues by working with customers; resolve them timely
Update engineering documents/procedures as necessary.
