Electrical Engineering Manager manages electrical engineering projects and operations within an organization. Implements and maintains policies and procedures for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electronic equipment or devices. Being an Electrical Engineering Manager reviews and approves new or revised designs, testing or installation procedures. Ensures engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Manager provides professional development opportunities and expert guidance to engineers. Draws on significant experience and knowledge to contribute to projects. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a director. The Electrical Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Electrical Engineering Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the Fabrication Supervisor, estimator, and fabricators within the Panel Division. The expectation is that this individual will help to strengthen existing relationships as well pursue new opportunities to foster financial growth for the Division.

    2. Qualifications:

    a. Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations/management in the panel design/fabrication industry

    b. Capable of reading and understanding electrical schematics and specifications

    c. Capable of modifying and creating as-built drawings in AutoCAD

    d. Capable of managing project managers and fabricators

    e. Capable of estimating panel fabrication jobs given drawings and specifications

    f. Capable of managing to a project schedule and budget to ensure the customer’s expectations are met

    g. Good customer relations skills

    h. Capable of assisting customers with design related issues

    i. Ensure safe work practices with all installation methods

    j. Ensure quality standards are upheld by fabricators

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
