Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     As an Electrical Engineer, you will conduct and manage investigations involving residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems; examine and assess electrical equipment and components; and conduct fire origin and cause investigations. You will interact with clients and other consultants, manage multiple, unique projects, and prepare written reports summarizing your analyses.

    Technical Qualifications:


    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (not electronics)
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
    • Forensic Experience
    • Advanced Technical Education degrees (a plus)
    • Computer Software Capable (for example: MathCAD, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)


    Experience in One or More of the Following Areas:

    • Process Plants
    • High Voltage Power Generation and Distribution
    • Instrumentation and Controls
