Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
    • Basic knowledge of electric machines design principles and engineering performance evaluations.
    • Strong desire and motivation to learn electrical design and application of electric rotating machines.
    • Basic understanding of functional testing of various electric machines.

      Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with rotating equipment.
    • Prior work experience in transportation or power industries.
    • Basic understanding of electromagnetics.
    • Basic understanding of thermal analysis of electric machines.

      Responsibilities:

    • Work with cross-functional teams to provide design solutions and meet assigned objectives in new product development.
    • Execute analysis, design, testing, and integration activities to support assigned components, assemblies, or systems.
    • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
    • Validate new components and subassemblies, author and release drawings and specifications.
    • Generate engineering documents such as DFMEA, design review materials, purchase specifications, meeting notes, technical visuals, and presentations.
    • Conduct the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards and requirements.
    • Document and communicate results of technical data generated in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.
    • Ensure proper documentation of technical data for assigned projects or tasks.
