As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payment collection, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
-Prepare and send out invoices to customers.
- Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts
- Collecting on past due invoices
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting system
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving payment-related issues promptly
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
Requirements:like
- Proficiency in debits and credits concepts
- Previous experience in accounting a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes a plus.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) a plus.
- Experience working with accounting software, such as Quickbooks.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and customers.
