Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise.  We are seeking entry-level to experienced candidates to become an integral part of our engineering team.  The selected candidates will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes.  This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility located near Green Bay, WI.

    Electrical Engineer II

    This position is associated with the design and testing of electrical systems that control vehicle operation and functions. Testing methods include diagnostic troubleshooting, automated software testing, and full or partial machine testing.

    Job Description

    • Design new and enhance existing test systems for robust electronics intended for on/off road vehicles and harsh environments.
    • Perform requirements capture, analysis, design, programming, debugging, hardware integration and verification.
    • Perform tasks, with some supervision, to meet quality, delivery and cost goals.
    • Operate in a team environment, providing guidance to design solutions and actively participating in design reviews.
    • Create and review innovative HW/SW testing architectures and designs for challenging problems with some peer guidance or supervision.
    • Employ independent troubleshooting strategies; quickly determine root cause with some support from others.

    Requirements

    • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
    • Technical experience using and understand schematics and circuit analysis tools (Pspice, MathCAD).
    • Experience with development and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.).
    • Good written and verbal communications skills.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in Electrical Testing and Power Electronics.
    • Experience with communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
    • Experience in LabView or other equivalent programming languages.
    • Experience with Data Acquisition systems (DAQ) and other basic hardware systems. 
    • MathCAD, Orcad, Pspice experience.
    • Experience in statistical analysis (SPC, GR&R, Monte Carlo, etc.).
    • Electronics manufacturing testing experience.
