Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Position Overview: Plans, organizes, directs, and performs all technical engineering activities related to product design, improvement and compliance of existing product lines while meeting company objectives. Work with sales team to meet new design criteria and approve those modifications to existing designs needed to meet customer requirements. Work with production management to design for manufacturability, safe and efficient. Works with product management on the development of new designs.
