Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise.  We are seeking a growth-oriented candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team.  The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes.  This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility in Waco, TX.  The position will be onsite with no opportunity for remote work M-Th (6am-4pm).

     Job Description:  The main function of the engineering aide is to support the manufacturing engineer by adapting and applying engineering techniques, conducting tests and inspections, and preparing reports and calculations. Job Responsibilities: Determine engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests, analyzing and synthesizing data, maintaining control charts, determining root causes, writing work instructions and preparing bid specifications. Resolve engineering problems by collecting analyzing information, researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques. Recommend solutions and prepare drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Meet cost standards by preparing cost-benefit analyses, and track and report expenses. Maintain and improve quality results by completing quality assurance tests, following standards, studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, and implementing changes. Collect and enter data, generate reports and presentations, and summarize data and trends.

    Desired Attributes:  Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Basic ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. Basic ability to perform details calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications. Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field. Education/Experience: Associate's degree in engineering technology or related field desired. 2-4 years experience desired.
