The general role of the Electrical Technician I – Engineering & Automation is to provide Electrical Engineering support for a wide range of projects as they progress from concept to installation. The projects vary greatly and consist of custom electromechanical equipment, control panels, robotics, and vision systems, etc. This individual will work in conjunction with engineers and project managers as assigned. The work will be performed in the office, shop, and at customer sites as needed.
This individual possesses a general understanding of electrical principles and requires the ability to perform and lead both hands-on work in the shop or field. This position will also assist with computer design work in an office setting. This position must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include travel and overtime as needed. Overnight travel is typically on an infrequent basis.
The Electrical Technician II will report to an Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Manager, or other Management as assigned and works primarily out of the Grantsville location.
