    Summary of Responsibilities 

    • You will be responsible for the actual design, developing/construction documents, and following projects through construction, start-up and beyond
    • You will be expected to maintain CAD standards and details
    • You will be responsible for designing equipment layouts, receptacle layouts, interior and exterior lighting layouts, branch circuiting, feeder sizing, and new project drawing setup
    • You may work you up to being responsible for the management and supervision of junior electrical technicians to complete projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner


    Requirements 

    • You possess prior work experience performing Computer Aided Drafting using AutoCAD for Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or closely-related field.
    • You have attended technical school with emphasis on drafting and/or equivalent experience and training
    • You have Building Information Modeling (BIM)/Revit MEP experience 
    • You possess a proficient understanding of the National Electrical Code, 
    • Preferably experienced in: equipment layout, normal and emergency lighting calculations, panel load calculations, branch circuiting, feeder sizing, utility coordination of services and metering, and familiar with Visual or AGI lighting software, IECC energy codes, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code
