Electrical Engineering Technician installs and checks experimental and operational electrical machinery, equipment, circuitry, and components according to established procedures and specifications. Responsible for routine testing and/or maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Being an Electrical Engineering Technician documents daily operation activities and records tools and materials inventory. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Electrical Engineering Technician works under moderate supervision. What you will do: The Director of Engineering will lead the Engineering and Maintenance teams with responsibilities over all product lines (including rotating electrical, mechanical, electronics, and EV battery) and product launch, product and process engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality systems, and warranty.
Qualifications/Skills Preferred:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- At least ten years of related experience required.
- Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to develop and implement solutions
- Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data in an open book environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Preferred APQP or AIAG experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
