Job Description:

• Technical/Engineering degree with utility experience is highly preferred.
• Possess the ability to read a one line diagram for an electrical substation.
• Good knowledge about electric power systems, relays, electrical control circuitry or telecommunication.
• Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C, Transmission engineering, Transmission or Distribution dispatch experience; or Electrical Utility maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience.
• Preferred location is Tulsa, OK but open to Shreveport, LA
• Assist higher level employees in their role as TFS Coordinator.
• Assist in the scheduling of pre-determined work activities of Transmission field personnel.
• Assist in collecting data, data entry, maintaining front end loaded schedules and completed ready to execute resource loaded schedules that optimize the maintenance work plans, capital work plans and other TFS work activities.
• Assist with TFS outage requests, including entering outages into TOA and verifying that all required outages have been entered. Become familiar with scheduling software and upgrades to the software.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

• Under the direction of others, assist with the development of fully integrated resource loaded and levelized TFS work schedules that optimize maintenance work plans, capital outage work, and other TFS work activities using Transmission approved scheduling software and tools.
• Comply with the Outage Coordination Procedure.
• Participate in meetings with project, outage, construction, maintenance, operations and commissioning groups.
• Works with TFS outage requests, including entering outages into TOA or its successor. 5. Assist in organizing, coordinating and attending the outage coordination meetings.
• Assist higher level employees in coordinating changes to the work schedule when an outage needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
• Helps higher level employees in the development, review, and presentation of statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence, crew utilization, etc.
• Supports the coordination and participate in meetings with other sections/departments covering scheduling, staffing and outages.

Education Requirements:

• Assoc Degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field and one year of experience; or high school diploma and 2-3 years' direct electrical utility experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic working knowledge with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint.
• Some travel required.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work well with others and possess good teamwork skills.
• Become familiar with planning and scheduling techniques.
