Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer installs, repairs, and maintains powerline equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Duties:
- Operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Report issues with machines or programs to manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating CNC machines or similar equipment
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Basic understanding of machining principles and processes
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
