Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer jobs in Richmond, VA
Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer installs, repairs, and maintains powerline equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electrical Powerline Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. IMMEDIATE HIRE - ELECTRICAL APPRENTICES
Pyramid Electrical Contractors is looking for motivated career minded individuals to work projects in the Metro Richmond, VA area. Registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Electrical Apprentice Qualifications:
Must have standard hand tools. Must be willing to travel when needed (per diem is provided if traveling). One year electrical experience. Good driving records (no DUI, reckless driving ticket, excessive speeding, etc.)
General Requirements:
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc). Able to lift and carry heavy loads without assistance. Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders, get on/off of equipment, and work from various heights. (PPE is provided). Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning, and pulling. Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required PPE required for the job in a safe manner. Willing to work at least 40 hours a week in a drug-free workplace.
