Job Description:
Essential Functions

• Perform daily project deliverables, and effectively communicate these to the project team.
• Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
• Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial documents.
• Supervise the project procurement process.
• Meeting with project clients to assess their needs and define project requirements, acceptance criteria and project timelines.
• Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what’s needed at the right time.
• Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables.
• Be the liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the project life cycle.
• Help project managers monitor project progress and team members’ performance and provide updates to project stakeholders.
• Schedule stakeholder meetings, documents and generate reports.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
• Be a representative of B&B at work and in the community. Professional and ethical conduct are expected.

Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project
• Exceptional understanding of Excel to analyze data.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, customers, and the public.
• Excellent reading comprehension and interpretation abilities
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.

Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a professional job site environment but must periodically make visits to the office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. This position is infrequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles and infrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level on job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are typically 50 hours per week but are dependent upon the needs of the job. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position frequently requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
Travel
This position is 80% based in Bolivar Peninsula, TX and 20% other.
Required Education and Experience

• Associate degree in construction management, Business, or relevant field.
• 1 year of Project management and data analytics experience.
• Computer literate with knowledge of current technology.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in powerline construction.

Job Requirements:
Summary/Objective
The Project Coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. The Project Coordinator will monitor the daily progress of projects and will update the project team regularly. This position will be working directly with B&B’s distribution service line, knowledge of powerline construction is preferred. This position is located in Bolivar Peninsula, TX. The successful applicant must be willing to be in the Bolivar Peninsula, TX area Mon.-Fri.
