We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of solar energy systems through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key responsibilities include:
· Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on solar PV systems to identify and address potential issues
· Performing electrical tests, measurements, and diagnostics to assess system performance and compliance with specifications
· Cleaning solar panels and other system components to maximize energy production and efficiency
· Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical components, including inverters, wiring, and mounting hardware
· Documenting maintenance activities, equipment failures, and corrective actions in O&M reports and software platforms
· Responding to service calls and emergencies to resolve system issues and minimize downtime
· Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely completion
· Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements at all times
