    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. The Electrical Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing proposals, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating, project management, and construction operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, subcontractor costs, and overhead expenses. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates.
    • Proposal Preparation: Develop professional proposals and bid packages that clearly outline project scope, pricing, and terms. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and provide customized solutions.
    • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, resource allocation, and subcontractor management. Monitor project progress, track expenses, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project updates, address client inquiries and concerns, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship, materials, and installations meet industry standards, codes, and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project execution and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse impacts.
    • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all project team members and subcontractors.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports. Generate timely and comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, subcontractors, and vendors. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment to promote teamwork and achieve project objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and project management within the construction industry.
    • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
    • Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools (e.g., Intellibid, Procore).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
    • PMP certification or similar project management credentials preferred.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
