Electrician

Job Summary

FSI would like to hire an Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. To perform this role, the candidate will need a Journeyman license from a technical school/college and documented experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment and such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Connect power supply wires to machines, equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices.
• Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Replace electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
• Plan layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
• Perform all duties in conformance with company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Two (2)-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• All state or federal requirements; or any license or certification that may be required by the contract in which the employee is working.
