Hours:          Monday- Thursday 6AM to 4:30PM; Overtime may be required based on demand
Salary:         $28.75 per hour, increasing to $29.75 within 6 months

Summary:

The Technician is responsible for performing various tasks which include maintaining, adjusting, assembling, installing, dismantling, troubleshooting, repairing manufacturing machinery including electrical and PLC work. In addition to performing preventive maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain various mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic and electrical components on specialized production machinery
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Prompt, reliable attendance
• Follow all safety procedures and report any issues to supervisor
• Maintain toolbox provided by employer
  

Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 60 pounds
• Proficient troubleshooting single and 3-phase motors
• Able to install various motors, switches, relays and drives in production machines
• Proficient in reading/interpreting print, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams
• Proficient with Rockwell Software RSLogix500, 5000, and Studio 5000 software or other PLC Suite
