Electromechanical Technician fabricates, tests, analyzes, and adjusts precision electromechanical instruments. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electromechanical Technician may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electromechanical Technician relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.     Responsible to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain SFC facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensures work is of highest standards and meets OSHA requirements.

    Records required preventive maintenance data and maintains required records, including process monitoring / measurement devices.

    Supports and implements SFC policies, work instructions, procedures, including the SFC Quality Management System (QMS) Adhere to all OSHA standards and regulations, such as;

    Lockout / Tagout, NFPA 70E, and Confined Space. Perform all other duties as directed by Plant Manager.

    Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate :

    If a degree is required it must be from an accredited institution)

    May require a high school diploma or GED. 2 years as an industrial electrician, and maintenance mechanic, or in the electrical and maintenance field.

    Able to use various hand tools and electrical test equipment. (Digital Multi-meter) Basic PC skills required to use a computerized maintenance management system.

    Ability to follow directions and specifications. Problem solving, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills .
