Electromechanical Technician fabricates, tests, analyzes, and adjusts precision electromechanical instruments. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electromechanical Technician may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electromechanical Technician relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Position Summary :
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintenance of a variety of complex electro-mechanical equipment and systemsincluding fabrication equipment, automation, robotics, and control systems.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is also key contributor in the implementation of new equipment, processes, and technology.

Position Responsibilities :
Fabrication Equipment Maintenance : Service and repair fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, coil lines, and CNC punch presses.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
System Integration and Implementation : Implement new equipment and technologies into existing systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Provide input on equipment designs and modifications to enhance performance.
Provides emergency unscheduled repairs, which may require overtime and weekendsProvides regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipmentAids with facility snow removal
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation upgrades and enhancements.

Position Qualifications & Requirements :
Education :
Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing fabrication equipment, including lasers, press brakes, and CNC punch presses.
Certification / License :
Valid Driver’s License
