Electronic Data Interchange Manager oversees staff responsible for the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps. Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages daily EDI operations. Leads EDI projects. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Manager defines and documents project scopes, deliverables, and schedules. Allocates the resources for testing and implementation support. Establishes documentation standards used to develop flow charts and written documentation of EDI design, specifications, and operating protocols. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Description/Qualifications:
Applies basic knowledge and experience to solve routine technical tasks and/or system issues that may typically performed by reference to Technical Maintenance manuals or similar documentation. Work and performance duties may require review by higher level Technicians to ensure compliance with accepted practices and/or standard operating procedures. Work being performed for the first time and any task for which the employee is not documented, will be reviewed by the assigned manager, a higher-level technician, or assigned shift lead shall review being proficient. Receives training in device system and subsystems.

High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a civilian or military basic electronics course or 4 years of comparable work experience in the aircraft or IT industry.

Security Clearance and Responsibilities
Must either have a current security clearance or be fully eligible for the requisite clearance. Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. May be responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials. Employee shall not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know authorization. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. Will be required to execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.

An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, prices, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs.
