Electronic Data Interchange Manager oversees staff responsible for the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps. Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages daily EDI operations. Leads EDI projects. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Manager defines and documents project scopes, deliverables, and schedules. Allocates the resources for testing and implementation support. Establishes documentation standards used to develop flow charts and written documentation of EDI design, specifications, and operating protocols. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. SUMMARY
On site role, 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
Responsible for activities relating to the coordination of shipping finished goods to our customers, and assistance with supply chain management. Including but not limited to interacting with customers, preparing the required paperwork, working with freight companies, coordinating deliveries to job site, and coordinating with Purchasing on supply chain opportunities. Works closely with Customers and other internal departments including: Accounting, Sales, Production, Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Shipping to complete assigned tasks.

Working Conditions
This role operates in a professional office environment. Indoors at a desk; heated in the winter, doors open in summer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works indoors and maybe on the factory floor or at customer sites and trade shows. The plant environment may be dusty and loud, PPE equipment is required. Safety measures required and provided. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office and can be loud on the factory floor. Potential for overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects. The role includes physical tasks on the production floor including operating office equipment, the employee should be comfortable with physical tasks and being in a production warehouse environment.
