Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is proud to be recruiting Electronic Assemblers for our client in Endicott, New York. We have immediate openings on 1st and 2nd Shift! This position will direct and coordinate the workflow in different areas throughout the manufacturing department. Assemblers will run and maintain equipment, monitor, and check product quality and document results to follow established processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems
- Troubleshoots and tests parts and sub-assemblies to company specifications.
- Perform various mechanical and electronic production functions by assembling, adjusting, and repairing equipment to company standards and conducting the inspection of in-process or finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, micrometers, and calipers to measure and inspect components
- Collect and analyze data to ensure quality control standards are met
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Fabricate and assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications
- Conduct functional tests on completed products to verify performance
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Communicate with various staff members, interdepartmentally, at a technical level, both orally and written, building strong relationships.
Experience:
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) processes and equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement instruments
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems
