What you should know about the VP Data and Systems Manager

Responsible for providing senior level support for systems, data management and management reporting for Signature Financial ("SF"). Subject matter expert and Administrator on critical operating and accounting systems for SF. Liaison with Bank IT on all technology related projects and requests. Manage and mentor Specialty Lending Systems Officer.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• System Administrator and subject matter expert for both front-end onboarding system (Aspire) and backend accounting system (Lease Plus). Responsible for all updates, fixes and ongoing maintenance of these critical systems.
• Act as lead data manager and reporting officer for all Signature Financial business segments, including risk and portfolio management and business development.
• Manage and mentor Specialty Lending Systems Officer to increase the bandwidth of the Operations team as expand our utilization of technology and innovation as a tool for efficient portfolio growth
• Develop/administer client facing applications relating to their applicable portfolio, including reports relating to payment performance, sales tax remittance, payoffs, equity positions & the like.
• Coordinate with SVP - Managing Director Operations and Strategic Development to manage the tracking of ESO incentive compensation plans through maintenance and updating of Funding Sheet Access database.
• Manage the weekly processing of billing statements for 18,000 contracts in the portfolio
• Vendor management for several key applications utilized by SF.
• Key stakeholder in choice of platforms and migration of front end and backend systems in 2022 and 2023
• Role includes both primary responsibilities as well as backup and "checks & balances" role with Managing Director Operations and Strategic Development to ensure compliance and safety and sounds of operations, systems & IT infrastructure.

To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Fifth year college or university program certificate and five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years- in database administration required Experience in a commercial lending environment (preferred) Prior supervisory/management experience- a plus
• Report creation Vendor Management
