Electronic Data Interchange Manager oversees staff responsible for the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps. Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages daily EDI operations. Leads EDI projects. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Manager defines and documents project scopes, deliverables, and schedules. Allocates the resources for testing and implementation support.     Job Description, Accountabilities, Duties and Tasks

    Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

    Reports To: National Sales Manager

    Position Description: This job is a mid-level management position requiring strong selling/negotiating/pricing and administrative skills with a proven ability to manage a large customer base across a multi-state geographical sales region.

    Primary Accountabilities:

    1. Achieve sales and profitability goals on a consistent monthly basis via the implementation of aggressive initiatives and actions to develop new business. New business is defined as new customers as well as incremental growth business with existing customers.
    2. Coordinate the activities of the position and the local Branch personnel to maintain a superior level of customer service. This includes enlisting the support of vendor regional representatives and associated corporate departments.
    3. Serve as the EED regional representative with local and national industry organizations while participating in trade shows, exhibits and both customer and vendor functions.

     

     

     

     

     

    Duties and Tasks:

    1. Identify and evaluate sales potential with all companies purchasing and installing access control products. Develop a systematic call plan to contact all companies such that the maximum amount of sales volume is realized.
    2. Prepare, present and close sales quotes while balancing profitability and sales volume. Provide sales management with updates to these activities on a weekly basis.
    3. Stay abreast of industry trends, technology and market pricing and communicate this throughout the company as is relevant. This means maintaining close oversight as to competitive activities and developing sales/marketing strategies to insure our position in the marketplace.
    4. Work closely with the local Branch teams to ensure orders are processed in an accurate and timely nature. Communicate any problems to the respective manager for prompt resolution and future prevention.
    5. Travel on a regular basis to all market locations with meaningful sales potential, i.e., all cities with a population of 250,000 or more. A geographical sales call plan is required on a quarterly basis.
    6. Coordinate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales projections to be discussed during the weekly conference calls. Sales goal achievement is a shared objective with the Branch team.

     

     

    1. Maintain close contact with all vendors regional representatives to assist in coordinating joint sales calls, training seminars and pricing/promotional programs.
    2. Plan and implement most cost-efficient business travel while maintaining good care of all company assets, vehicle, laptop, cell phone and van inventory.
    3. Respond to all company and customer related communications in a timely and professional manner.
    4. Work closely with the EED Office Manager to ensure compliance with all administrative requirements, including the collections process for outstanding accounts receivables.
    5. Provide site specification and installation support, including        participation by vendors when required by the customer.

    Performance Standards:

    1. Company, Region, and Branch monthly, quarterly and annual sales and gross profit objectives.
    2. New business development-minimum $400,000/year.
    3. RSM operating expenses-within established budget/plan.
    4. Order fulfillment-98% accuracy/fill rate within 48 hours.
    5. Customer satisfaction-external/internal reporting and tracking-98%.
