Electronic Data Interchange Manager oversees staff responsible for the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps. Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages daily EDI operations. Leads EDI projects. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Manager defines and documents project scopes, deliverables, and schedules. Allocates the resources for testing and implementation support. Establishes documentation standards used to develop flow charts and written documentation of EDI design, specifications, and operating protocols. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Electronic Data Interchange Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Function: The primary function of the Salesforce Data Manager is to manage data integrity. This individual is responsible for managing all of the data entry of the inquiries and applications and complete audits of the data on a regular basis. Regularly the Salesforce Data Manager will be required to compile reports and disseminate across the institution.
