Veris Manufacturing (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join its Brea, CA team! The Staff Accountant’s core function is to perform transaction-level activities related to cash, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, and to assist the Site Controller in preparing periodic financial reporting

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: 

• Assist in the month end / year end close to ensure timely issuance of the financial statements. 
• Assist in the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Manage the accounts receivable invoicing and posting to general ledger.
• Initiate collections on past due invoices and resolve any issues.
• Research and resolve account receivable discrepancies.
• Process daily bank deposit and general ledger postings.
• Work late last day of month (includes Sat or Sunday) and the next 5 business days to close the books when necessary
