Ensures proper configuration and set-up of the EDI tools and systems that support file transfer between internal and external trading partners. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Specialist coordinates trading partner implementations and conducts EDI testing. Documents processes, data flow, file specifications, and mapping using standard formats. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. Job Summary
STF is seeking an Electronics Technician with recent operator experience with tactical radios, experienced with the PRC series of radios and variants in ground and/or aviation; handheld and or manpack. Ideal candidate is a military trained ideal candidate is a military trained electronics technician with experience as a military radio operator or field service technician. Must have extensive training in maintenance testing and diagnostic routine designed for radio frequency and/or millimeter wave equipment. Must be able to perform tests and measurements of an electronic/electro-mechanical/computer nature, in accordance with military and commercial standards. Must be able to troubleshoot related product malfunctions, modify, wire and fabricate devices related to work, as required. Works in a lab environmental using a variety of electronic test equipment focusing on the PRC series of radios, variants, RT-1523 variants and TW-900/950. Should have experience or familiarization with COMSEC to include load devices and other applications: SKL, KMI, iApp, JENM, ACES.
Telework is supported at 5%. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Integrates tactical radios and waveforms to enable testing of COMSEC equipment and electronic key distribution over radio networks.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience. Must have experience with MS Office, VISIO, test and repair of radios, experience installing and positioning antenna. Must have experience installing equipment in equipment racks, cabling, labeling, powering equipment, bonding and grounding. Must have experience or familiarization with COMSEC to include load devices and other applications: SKL, KMI, iApp, JENM, ACES.
Education Requirements
AA in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline. Or 2 years of technical training or schools. 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
