An Electronic Lock/Access Control Field Technician is a professional who services, repairs, and installs electronic locks/access control equipment/parts for their clients to keep them running smoothly. This position will require on-site work and in-the-shop duties. A valid driver's license is required.

Experienced Technician needed for fast growing company located in Apopka, FL. We are looking for a motivated individual that can complete repairs, installations, and service of mechanical door hardware, electronic door hardware and low voltage. Customer skills are a must as you will be working directly with customers.

Responsibilities and Duties
*Providing service and customer support during field visits
*Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
*Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
*Produce timely and detailed service reports
*Operate vehicle in a safe manner (clean driving record)
*Build positive relationships with customers
Qualifications and Skills
*Mechanical door hardware installation experience including but not limited to rim panics, mortise locks, cylindrical locks, and door closers etc.
*Electronic locking hardware installation experience including but not limited to electric strikes, maglocks, electrified hardware and battery-operated locksets, etc.
*Knowledge and experience with pulling low voltage wire.
*Knowledge and experience with access controllers, relays, power supplies, card readers and related devices.
*Basic networking skills preferred
*Knowledge and experience with access control software deployment, configuration and customer training skills preferred
*Trustworthy driving history
*Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
*Some travel required
