Electronic Data Interchange Specialist analyzes, designs, and develops specifications for enhancements and extensions with EDI application interfaces and maps. Ensures proper configuration and set-up of the EDI tools and systems that support file transfer between internal and external trading partners. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Specialist coordinates trading partner implementations and conducts EDI testing. Documents processes, data flow, file specifications, and mapping using standard formats. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. Requisition Summary
This position is responsible for implementing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions. The ideal candidate is one that is proactive in working with suppliers, IT, master data, materials, and accounting departments responsible for the timely generation, transmission and verification of all EDI.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
* Monitors, audits and reconciles the transmission and receipt of EDI data in accordance with PACCAR's policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
* Support the division's material, accounting and marketing departments to determine division priority for EDI set up and issue resolution.
* Work with suppliers to implement and improve EDI functionality.
* Provide raw EDI data analysis, root cause analysis, and assist with resolution of issues.
* Create and configure all settings for blanket purchasing agreements including EDI parameters, aggregations, and frequencies of releases.
* Write reports utilizing ERP/AS400 System, and BI data structure and relationships through the understanding of variable and calculated fields.
* Conduct system testing and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
* Four-year degree required.
* Three years of relevant work experience required.
* Experience with EDI Standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
* Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) knowledge and experience desired.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening are required.
* Self-motivated, organized, and apt to generating continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of supply chain management, distribution practices, EDI, inventory management, and production environments desired.
* Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or Python is a plus.

Salary Range:
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $75,100.00 - $103,730.00 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
