Electronic Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media planning function. Manages a team responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Being a Electronic Marketing Manager designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives. Uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Additionally, Electronic Marketing Manager oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns. Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Electronic Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Electronic Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as marketing specialist or college graduate with a major in marketing
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
