Electronic Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media planning function. Manages a team responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Being a Electronic Marketing Manager designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives. Uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Additionally, Electronic Marketing Manager oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns. Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Electronic Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Electronic Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • About the Position:

    The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of strategic marketing initiatives for VMS clients. This role will create and execute integrated marketing communications & tactics to engage and drive awareness with prospective and current clients. You will be responsible to successfully manage and design multi-channel campaigns and equip the business development team with compelling marketing collateral that help generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities.

    Essential Functions:

    Marketing Strategy

    • Define and communicate the organization's value proposition and differentiators across our suite of products.
    • Strategy, planning, execution (inclusive of content development), management, measurement and reporting of initiatives within 4 areas:
      • Events marketing - conference and industry event attendance and sponsorship
      • Thought leadership marketing - webinar and conference presentation development, white-papers and reports, and publication strategy
      • Awareness marketing strategy - SEO/SEM, print and digital advertising strategy, email blasts, social media campaigns & strategy
      • Corporate marketing - website and PR strategy
    • Track, measure, and optimize key marketing initiatives including developing and reporting on monthly dashboards to the leadership team
    • Develop and drive annual corporate marketing plan in conjunction with head of marketing

    Sales & Marketing Collateral

    • Partnering with Business Development to support sales enablement - presentation templates, collateral, and proactive compelling content creation
    • Supporting development of new product / feature rollout, product demos / videos in collaboration with Business Development & Product team
    • Partnering with Business Development to support request for proposal (RFP) creation and development
    • Partnering with Client Solutions team to support client retention efforts inclusive of developing compelling content, holiday campaigns, etc.
    • Communicate with and educate client facing teams regarding new and planned marketing activities
    • Competitive intelligence monitoring and management

    Content Strategy & Execution

    • Translate market positioning and value prop into highly compelling customer facing collateral
    • Design, develop and execute a robust content strategy that includes thought leadership, educational content, whitepapers, patient services reports, case studies, and more (includes content creation/writing)
    • Ensure that the content aligns with customer needs and supports our positioning as an innovative and trusted industry leader
    • Able to create brand/patient/educator stories using multi-media content for a range of channels - case studies, blogs, thought leadership, press and PR through written, video, audio and visual tools

    Market Intelligence

    • Subject matter expert on competitive landscape for VMS products and services
      • Leverage market insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics
      • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and differentiation
    • Visionary for what best in class patient support solutions/materials look like
    • Deep understanding of VMS customer needs
    • Ensure VMS products and services are recognized as a key differentiator in the delivery of patient support for our clients

    Required Education and/or Experience:

    • 7-10 years of direct experience in marketing or communications within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Professional Writing or relevant field

    Required Skills:

    • Experience working in biopharma solution providers and/or with patient facing digital health solutions preferred
    • Highly developed training, presentation, and written communication skills
    • Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion
    • Robust content development & business writing experience
    • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to make informed decisions.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth as well as setting marketing KPIs.
    • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including legal/regulatory requirements, drug development lifecycle, and market trends.
    • Proven experience in content strategy and supporting business development through key marketing initiatives.
