Electronic Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media planning function. Manages a team responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Being a Electronic Marketing Manager designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives. Uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Additionally, Electronic Marketing Manager oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns. Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Electronic Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Electronic Marketing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary Description:

    We’re seeking a high energy marketing manager with a creative spirit and super project management skills to join our marketing team. The right candidate can play a key role in helping to grow the electronic access control business of two major B2B commercial door hardware brands in the Americas under ASSA ABLOY.

    As Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with many areas of the business to build and execute marketing strategies covering everything from new product launches and sales enablement tools to lead generation and brand building campaigns. Backed by a team of marketing resources, both internal and external to the organization, your success is fully in your hands.

    The ideal candidate possesses a minimum 4 years of marketing experience in industries involving physical access control, consumer electronics, MedTech, or other IoT technology. Being highly organized with a love for learning is a plus. We are a collaborative team, working together onsite between our Berlin and New Haven offices in Connecticut.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Product Launches – Manage product launches and updates, including creation/development of technical documentation, sales support assets and communications both internal and external to the organization
    • Campaigns – Work with digital marketing team to generate valuable sales leads through integrated digital campaigns (PPC, display, social, email) from journey mapping and content development to analysis and refinement
    • Sales Enablement – support the needs of our broad sales team with creation of sales enablement tools and assets, from playbooks, videos and presentations to mounted product displays and brochures
    • Content - Manage variety of internal/external resources to generate compelling blogs, case studies, ebooks, infographics, videos and more, to support lead generation campaigns, website SEO, email nurturing, social media and other channels of targeted engagement
    • Data Analysis - Track and analyze metrics for campaigns, websites, tools, social media and content performance to guide effective sharing and define future marketing strategies and development efforts
    • Experiential Marketing - Collaborate across the organization to support our in-person experiential marketing events via PR, advertising, and product displays for our onsite and mobile Showrooms, large trade show booth properties, and smaller table-top events
    • Manage invoices and budget tracking for all marketing activities
    • Develop thorough understanding of product functions and applications, positioning, and go-to-market strategy through close collaboration with product management, business development, and brand management teams
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies and trends
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Educational Requirements, Skills and Abilities:

    • BS degree in Communications, Marketing or related discipline preferred
    • Minimum 4 years marketing and communications experience in a similar tech field
    • Proven success in strategy development, content marketing, and demand generation campaigns
    • Experience preferred in B2B marketing of physical access control, consumer electronics, cloud-based solutions with mobile apps, or products with wireless technologies, such as Bluetooth, Z-Wave and Zigbee
    • A critical thinker with the ability to solve problems and present ideas
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and influence at all levels of an organization
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
    • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus
    • Travel possible up to 10%
